designed commercial office furniture. The Original Equipment Industries (OEI) division of KI
was launched in 1986 to become the preferred partner of Correctional Industry (CI) programs
nationwide and bring that functional ergonomic furniture to the people they serve.
Since then, we at OEI have continuously updated our portfolio to meet the needs of the
modern marketplace, while leveraging our manufacturing expertise, product knowledge and
